Decoding "2012"

There's been a lot of talk about "2012" and the Mayan calendar...

I don't think the world's coming to an end. My personal belief is the capitalistic system that the founding fathers put into place will begin to crumble at a fast rate, bringing in a new economic era.

What are your thoughts?

From what I understand its just an energetic shift that mankind is going through; an elevation of consciousness. Not the end of the world, but the end of the world as we know it. Look at all the revolutions popping off and all the archaic institutions (mainly religion) that are being re-evaluated. And 12/21/12 is not really a specific date because the change has been gradually occurring over the past several years. Even the fact that we discuss a lot of this stuff in Higher Learning is a clue that people are going against the status quo and beginning to question the universe and our purpose in it.

On a metaphysical side, it's believed that we are leaving the 3rd dimension and slowly shifting into the lower octaves of the 4th dimension.

On a scientific side, I recently read an article (don't remember the name tho bruhs) that said scientists are discovering different particles, because we're rotating into an area of the galaxy that is more dense with protons, and that our solar system will fully be in it by 12/21/12.
