But on some real shyt if Adrian Peterson dont win it this year they might as well rename the award to the Best Quarterback Award or some shyt.

AD imo clinched the award during the last 4 games of the year. 651 rushing yards, 4 TD's and the Vikings went 4-0 all of which were must win games. He basically ran the Vikings into the playoffs

Congrats to AP. I said the only way he was going to win the award over Peyton is if he had a historically great season and he did.

Ive been saying this for years, You literally have to either blow peytons numbers out of the water or have an all time great season to force the media to give the MVP to someone else. Anything close goes to Manning

Drew Brees had better numbers then Peyton(and one less win) in 09' but he didnt blow Peyton's out of the water. But since it was close, peyton gets the award. Hell rivers in 08 had better numbers and it didnt matter
