Fukk your corny debates
Of course LL went on to continuing commercial success and Moe Dee's career didn't last. That's why people say LL won the battle.
But if you compare diss records in a vacuum, Moe Dee sonned him. Moe Dee dissed him on How You Like Me Now and LL hit him back with Less Than Zero. After Kool Moe Dee's career was already vanquished, LL gloated about it, "take your Star Trek shades off," etc. But the battle was mainly Jack The Ripper and Let's Go. Jack the Ripper was definitely a better song, but Let's Go had way harder and better disses.
So if you just go by whose career lasted and whose ended, LL obviously won. But if you try to rate who had the better disses, Moe Dee obviously won.
Jack the Ripper...
Let's Go...
"What does LL stand for..."
