I was listening to the latest Lapsed Fan podcast covering No Way Out 2004 and I was thinking about Eddie's passing:mjcry:.....along with this shyt:gucci:

and this

Like WTF:scust:? I know wrestling pulls no punches with storylines but using real life death in a storyline for "gasps" seems tacky as hell and tasteless as fukk. However, like the Eddie's dead video which actually worked with that feud along with this following video:

It all depends on the weight of a story to get it over. Yet, I feel so torn by the shyt being used for cheap "omg that b*stard" mark moments.:beli:

Worked when they brought up Reid Flair's death in that Paige/ Charlotte feud. :ehh:

I mean on paper it's tasteless but at least with Paul Bearer, it was tied in with his character like with the urn and stuff.

Exactly. A good storyline gets rid of the tasteless factor behind using a dead wrestler/family member in a feud. It's night and day compared to shyt like Big Show holding onto his "father's" casket as Big Bossman was dragging it with a hearse:deadmanny:.

If they family is cool with it and the wrestler who died would have been cool with it

It's good to me
