This was a tough 1 to judge! Both beats were really dope But I went with Brothazay! Liked the overall vibe to the beat. Definitely fits the season! something to chill to or ride around to. DK I usually would've gave you that 1 all day, but I felt like the wooden stick/snare held it back from really popping off! Can't go wrong with either!

I always liked hearing beats that use samples, without pitching the sample.

Its ironic cuz this is what I was trying to do with this beat. I added the moans, but I just needed a few more vocal samples, to fit, but couldnt really find any.

Like my idea was to have vocals in the baccground progressing thru the verse, kind of like an argument between spouses

I gotta say I was really impressed by Zay's beat cuz normally dude be posting up dope trap beats so when I heard that Woman to woman Betty Wright sample I was on some damn this nikka done switched it up and came with the fire sample. Made it chill as fukk too. Great beat breh.

Dean's beat was incredible too. Loved that shyt. Neither had any fault to them. I just felt Zay's beat a lil more.

I think I layered some 808's with an orchestra bass kick in Reason. I love this record. I really couldn't pitch the sample bc the song was aready uptempo. I used this sample back in the day when I was rapping and my producer just straight looped the main melody of the song w/o drums and it came out wack as fukk Played it for my boy in his Ac and he gave me the . Your beat is the truth bro , definitely a storytelling rider joint.
