Its a article from a April 1993 issue of GQ which profiles a doctor that was involved with the Tuskege sisyphlis experiment. What a lot of people don't know about the experiment, and what they detail in the article is that even after they found a cure for sisyphlis, the doctors decided to continue the experiment without informing the particpants that there was a cure. Unfortunately some of the article didn't scan properly, you can probably go to your local library and read the article in digest form.
