Hands down my fav exercise :wow::wow::wow:
No feeling compars to doing a heavy set of deadlift or a 1 rep max set :wow::wow:
Lil tip: I do heavy deadlifts with 1 rep max trys once a week, the other time I do them with low weight and focus on as many reps as possible. shyt had me damn near ready to drop dead yesterday

One of the GOAT exercises.

Lower back is messed up so I've started doing rack pulls. Almost the same as a full deadlift but a few inches off the ground with the rack supports.

That 'for reps' shyt is for the birds.

Deadlifts put me in hospital about 4 years back. Ever since then I've been very deliberate with my progress until now after hitting 5 plates.

My new thing is hitting 10 reps in 10 minutes. If I achieve it go up 5lb. Just started but will try with 190kg next time.

Can deadlifts help strengthen the lower back if you use moderate weight with 10-12 reps per set?
