I'm hoping theres a emcee or a group thats out there and would tackle the root of White Supremacy like these cats did. I love what Kendrick and J Cole are doing but I feel that they aren't gonna go for bat and put out songs like "Police State" "Animal in Man", "They Schools" or put out a first single like Hip Hop where they talking about running up on crakkkers in City hall.

The Production on here was beautiful and the album hasn't "aged" at all. If there isn't a time for Dead Prez to really come back NOW is the time. What is going on with these guys?

When I was a kid in Chicago, I used to go meetings in Hyde Park with The Chairman Fred Hampton Jr. and M-1 used to be there and I ended up being backstage with them at the Wild Hare one night. That really has nothing to do with anything, but I fuxked with their music heavily back in the day and this brought up the memory.

Funny you mention that. I had met M-1 when Khalid Muhammad did a speech out here in 2000

I recently revisited this album last month. It’s still dope. A funny story about me and this album is that I have absolutely no idea how I got it. I had never heard of them or the album. When I was a kid, nobody in my house even listened to rap but me. One day, I randomly found it in my room. Just the cd with no case. None of my friends said that it was theirs and my mom didn’t buy it for me. I decided to listen and I was blessed with one of the dopest and best produced album of that era.
