True a nice co op splitscreen shooter
The Tony Hawk/ea Skate Arcade vs Sim dynamic kinda killed the skateboarding genre which trickled down to action sports in general. Snowboarding and skateboarding are really the only 2 action sports games that make for great gameplay. Nobody tryna play a rollerblade or even BMX sim or arcade style game. With skateboarding THPS and Skate basically burnt themselves out on arcade style gameplay (skate started off as more of a sim but by the time they got to 3 that megaramp shyt and floaty physics were crazy) and the sim style games like Session and Skater XL have great core gameplay but got the whackest brands, music, presentation, etc. I will LOVE to see a legit AAA skateboarding sim but no dev/publisher is gonna take that risk
It's actually shocking that there haven't been ANY relevant boxing games in what seems like over a decade at least. Arcade or Sim. It seemed like at one point Fight Night and Ready 2 Rumble were industry staples

Split screen/ couch co-op games
Id like to Nintendo take on American Football. Donkey Kong at RB grabs an invincibility star blows through a D-line of turtles
