Am i the only one who cant stand his movies? i saw Requiem for a Dream ; The black swan, Noah, The wrestler. While watching these films i found them to be a chore to watch.
Don't get me wrong they are not bad movies, i just found them boring and pretentious and kind of cringe worthy.
Believe it or not Noah was my favorite one. Visually it was pretty good.
He might be the only "great director" i dont like.
Is he the most boring director working in hollywood? Should i even bother to watch The Fountain and Pi?
What do you guys think of him?

Road To Perdition is excellent but that movie must've been a fluke because everything else he does is boring as fukk.

i love that movie, so many great scenes.

these two moments aren't "sam mendes war movie moments" though. one of them is 1/3 just another film.
ill give you jarhead is overall an interesting movie for a single watch, but ive never walked out of an aranofsky film feeling like he delivered some mediocre, that i had expected or that I couldn't see again and see something new or in a new way.

Wrestler was great, but ima wrestling fan. Reqium was good, but ive never had the urge to rewatch it. Outside of the Portman masterbation scenes in swan i never wanted to see that again either....
