Darksiders 3 May Have Just Inadvertently Been Leaked

In a press release today announcing the remaster of Darksiders 2 there were some comments made by Reinhard Pollice, the Business & Product Development Director at Nordic Games, that would lead us to believe something new is surely on the way. Commenting specifically on Nordic and Gunfire Games bringing the Deathinitive Edition of Darksiders 2 to current gen consoles he may have inadvertently let the proverbial cat out of the bag.
“We took over the franchise roughly 2 years ago and thought about the next chapter for Darksiders ever since then. Naturally (and extremely excitedly!), there will be a large-scale project based on Darksiders, but for now it is very important for us to take care of the existing games and make those available to a broader audience.”
No as excited as we are *yawn* about another remaster in the works we certainly a little more fired up at the prospect of a new installment to the Darksiders franchise coming our way. What do you think?Could we see Darksiders 3 soon or could they take the franchise in a new direction?
