I've been saying for a while now that TV as a medium has surpassed film In this age.
The depth that can go into a TV show cannot be matched by a film.
If Daredevil had been a film Fisk would have been another shytty Marvel villain. Instead throughout the season the character was allowed to grow. I still have my problems with the D'onfrio portrayal but he is without question the best villain they have produced.
The action felt real. The people felt real. The conversations and humour was real.
These characters were fleshed out. Actions felt like they had consequence. Characters had believable conversations that didn't feel like they were just vessels to get to the next punchline and set piece.
The conversations between murdock and the priest were better than any scene Marvel has produced in 11 films.
I literally cannot wait to see the next shows. I pray we get punisher and moon knight.
