I liked how this episode went in on showcasing the legal side of Matt, which is very much an essential side to his character. It took me back to watching Perry Mason with Matthew Rhys and I still wish HBO didn’t cancel that courtroom piff.

This was a slow one but it's one of those "useful" ones that sets things up. Shows that there are more cops out there who got the mark Castle. By the way, how you a cop with a full on Cody Rhodes neck tattoo of a psychotic murderous vigilante's logo and no one said, "maybe we need to take that badge back."
Obviously it wasn't Frank, if it were they wouldn't waste the opportunity to show a beloved actors face.
Also, is that it? Is that the end of White Tiger? I know the actor passed but my question is that the real Tiger. Like is this dude a "guy in hockey pads" You'd think that the killer would have snatched the necklace of power if it were the real guy.

. . definitely wasnt Frank . . we already seen in the trailer that at some point he got the long hair and beard which means he's in Rest-Easy mode . . aka . . Pete . . who minds his business unless provoked .. the shooter was one of the NYPD groupies with the skull tatts . .. . but Fraank will get framed just like Punisher season one with the Lewis terrorist side-quest trying to lure him out . .. . White Tiger is done . unless the amulet gives him an adamantium skull aura. . . he was just more emotional baggage for Matt to push him back to puttin on his own mask .. the whole point of the show . . .. yawn . ..
It’s gonna feel all over the place in that regard here with two creative visions essentially clashing against one another after the overhaul. Won’t be any of that next season so hopefully things come across tighter then.This was a slow one ...

Not trying to come across as overly critical or nitpicky, because I’m still having a good time with the show. Can see what Corman and Ord were originally cooking up here and it’s actually solid stuff.

The courtroom stuff didn't drag at all in this episode. It definitely wasn't Matt's secret to give up, but after Nicky decided to be a bytch. Hector was getting sent away and was going to get taken out in jail. What happened to him on the streets though, that's some cold shyt. These wannabe Punisher cops, can't wait to see Frank, fukk them all the way up. Bunch of poser ass motherfukkers that don't understand what Frank is about. Which clearly art imitating life there. I really don't like what they are doing with Fisk and Vanessa. I thought they had such great chemistry in the Netflix one and they are just shytting all over it in this one. I was pissed when they originally planned to recast her, but now that they brought the original back. I don't like how they are using her at all. That said still fully invested in what is happening and where things are going to go.
So this ain't really DD, but what is up with cat based heroes dying of cancer? Panther and Tiger both dead.
