Watch the Defenders and Luke Cage but Skip Punisher S1…aight lol

Defenders is worth watching because it’s the crossover, if nothing else.

Punisher wasn’t my cup of tea, pacing was sporadic and I couldn’t find myself giving a shyt about any of the characters except for Castle. It’s not a must watch as a prelude to this show, but there’s no harm in checking it out

Where the fights/shootouts/robberies?

They even had THE PUNISHER standing around talking. Smh.
Plus, this cast is MIGHTY MIGHTY white.

They didn’t bring over ANY of the black supporting characters like Turk, Detective Mahoney and Claire.

If we get to the end of the season and we still didn’t get much in terms of action, then I’ll agree with some of y’all…

But we are 4 episodes out of 9, the original seasons had 13 eps each and every one of those seasons has at least a handful of episodes each with all buildup and no action (and they are pretty fresh in my mind since I rewatched them around 4 months ago)

Matt has just decided to bring DD outta retirement, Bullseye probably gonna get outta prison, Fisk gonna send out the vigilante task force, Muse gonna Muse some more and Matt and Frank are about to fukk shyt up in those new last 2 episodes written by the Punisher showrunner dude….relax, or maybe just wait till all episodes are out?

Exactly what I'm saying. These dudes want this shyt to be a 2.5 hour Marvel movie. Go watch Brave New World, this is serialized storytelling.

I mean, it's clear that episodes 5-9 are going to feature more violence/fighting AND Matt is going to suit back up as Daredevil.

Some of you guys are really impatient lol. The season so far has been a slow build on purpose, but it's all leading up to some intense stuff.

Just breathe, relax, and watch the season until it's finished...and THEN give your final judgement.
