IIRC the original concept of the show was to be a spinoff of the FOP as a Crimson Chin show but it turned into it's own entity

Ember had a really fukked up back story.
Got stood up by a dude. Didn't hear from him in 2 weeks as was suppose to go to some dance with him. When she got home her house caught on fire, but since the walk from the dance was so long that she was too tired to wake up and burned in the fire.
I didn't know Tucker's name was a combo of Chris Tucker and Axel Foley.

We got a ten year into the future Rugrats show, and we saw how that worked out.
Nick's looking at Adult Swim killing the 18-49 demo and is testing the waters on bringing alot of these older shows back as new instead of reruns.
