These are the 2 top rated guards that will be in the 2015 NBA Draft. Both great PG prospects but as different as them come in terms of what they bring to the game.

D'Angelo Russell

Positives
  • 6'5" Combo guard with a beautiful shooting stroke
  • Amazing Passer
  • Amazing range and shooting ability
  • Real long wingspan at 6'9"
  • Great rebounder for position
  • Leads OSU in points, boards and assists with 19.3 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 5.2 assists
  • Always looks in complete control. Never rushed
  • Supreme Confidence
  • "He aint even stretch doeeee"
Negatives
  • Some people question his ability to play the point in the nba
  • Not the best athlete. Not to fast or explosive. More quick than fast.
  • Lazy handle at times
  • Trouble driving and finishing at the rim consistently due to lack of explosiveness
Comp
  • Mix between Steph Curry and James Harden :whew:

Emmanuel Mudiay

Positives
  • 6'5" 200 pounds. Big strong PG
  • Everything Russell isnt in terms of athletic ability.
  • Super explosive, insane first step
  • Great passer
  • Super fast
  • Great, creative finisher in the paint
  • Good rebounder for his size
  • Unselfish
Negatives
  • Went to Deion's shythole school (Prime Prep :pacspit:) and it screwed his eligibility up so he's been in China
  • Can be sloppy and out of control at times
  • Very streaky shooter
  • CP3s the ball at times
Comp
  • Bigger stronger John Wall with some Sabo :whoo:

Im torn... Im leaning a towards Mudiay cause his upside is crazy but Russell is growing on me the more I watch him. His shot is pure:ohlawd:. Who do yall got:patrice:

:wow:I been going back and forth on this question for weeks...honestly don't know which one I want the Lakers to take.
Fixed:troll:. But on the real, its so hard to choose between the two because they are so different yet so good at what they do

:lolbron: Better hope somebody like the Kings or Jazz don't jump yall and we get that pick this year. Don't really think you can go wrong with either though.

I've heard the better shooting John Wall comparisons for Mudiay when he was coming out of HS.

Havent kept up with Russell. But I've heard bigger Damian Lillard? That sound right?

Not at all in my opinion. His game is exactly like Harden's with a hint of the flopping as well. Not even because they're both left handed either, it's really weird. I think Russell is a better passer, though, and that says a lot because I believe Harden to be an exceptional passer. You should watch The Ohio State University against Wisconsin this Sunday.

is the competition in the CBA better than the competition in college for Russel at OSU ????I've seen Russell struggle in big games and I've seen him take over I think Russell is the better passer but the athlete of mudiay is why he gets the nod

He didn't really play because of an ankle sprain. Came back in the playoffs and finished out before losing to Marbury's team. To answer your question, I would assume over there since you're going against grown men, but like I said, he didn't really play so...

CBA has talent but it's pretty bad and really geared towards high scoring outputs for American players, the Chinese players will overpass to get Americans the ball and score. CJ McCollum's brother just had an 82 point game over there, this is a dude that could only score 1ppg in the NBA summer league.

I could see that tbh. Not as athletic tho.
