Shout out to an OG. Netflix Chappelle and his get-off-my-lawn white boy adjacent rants against "political correctness" and the lgbt community been jumped the shark. But he has an army of stans that think he the second coming of Malcolm X spreading "knowledge" and not some rich entertainer just looking for a new provocative angle to stay relevant. Cat had a great Comedy Central show that was contributed by a bunch of talented comedic writers and I realize now that's all it is. Neg me bytch.

Its called growth. Im loving his growth as a comedian and individual. I love comedy for its many styles and angles. Chappelle is in his George Carlin bag right now. Calling out the bullshyt of our times.

Who's checking for any Wayans standup?? Love they family and what theyve contributed to black entertainment.

Netflix is oversaturting the market right now to the point where they're putting out Dave doing a speech as new content. Busting out the cameras and recording a comedy routine used to be a big deal, that material had to be razor sharp. Now Netflix recording any damn thing. Can't even blame them because its cheap to set up a film crew and give the comedian a bag compared to make a whole movie. That's why they have so many documentaries these days too.

Are nikkas really mad that this guy does speeches? The Mark Twain acceptance speech and the What's in a name speech were speeches. They were labeled as speeches. It's you dumb nikkas fault if you don't know the difference between a stand up comedy special and an acceptance speech.

Me personally I find his shyt interesting. Whether he is doing comedy or just telling stories.

I get his point but then this is also about terminology in what defines a “special” as opposed to what doesn’t. Also it’s on steaming so if it’s not what the consumer wants they can walk away easily. It would be different if it was billed at a comedy tour for example
