FBA is a much better term, slavery does not define our history. Calling ourselves Foundational Black Americans hits more harder. Yvette and Tonestalks starting to look real funny in the light recently, almost as if f they're agents.
Coming at Tariq, who has done so much for the black community ain't a good look. You going to war with the black community if you going at Tariq.
Tone and Yvette do not want to go against Tariq. Please, reconsider. The two of them have made phenomenal gains in raising the level of consciousness among intelligent, young black men and women. But going after the single most important figure behind the ADOS movement because he doesn’t kiss the ring is unwise.
Real ones know this. Tariq cross over to black empowerment fully because he noticed some of his followers would keep on mentioning race when dating, which became interesting to him. These cats want everything free, if he charges then he's a hustler pimping is community. All three of these posts above me are facts and the posters have a good head on their shoulders for making them. Im going to go into detail about Tariq because its necessary. If you take a good look at his work you can see he has been about black empowerment from day one. Before hidden colors he was lowkey black empowerment with his macking books. I looked into those books come to find out it wasnt about pimping anybody but about becoming a better man with integrity and having your shyt together which automatically brings forth the women you would desire. Same for the ladies with the art of gold digging and play or be played.
Yvette and Tone in their broadcasts lately have embraced terms like their Leaders and Founders and Pioneers when they should know that this lineage and momentum around FBA ADOS is larger than so called leaders and is about codification. In all of this Tariq hasnt hailed himself in a leadership position like they have and I listen to them regularly.
Tone recently said "now hes starting a Competing conference pulling more already limited resources from our people" that is very problematic and arrogant because why does your conference have to be the end all be all of conferences? To be real I got love for Yvette and Tone for their work but the EGO is really kicking in now.
