Grooming is often tied to underaged people because they're more often targeted but in general it could be any "vulnerable" group pressured by a person in a "power" position.

The case here seems to be that the women feel that due to his status in the comic industry Ellis held a similar control over them although he didn't force or pressure anyone into doing anything, he'd just hit it & quit it.

It might be sleazy, and Ellis admits he may not have realized how women experienced this, but it's far from some of the outright sexual harassment shyt you see pop up.

I can understand that

I also think it sets a dangerous precedence where if two consenting adults of legal age hook up and its classified as that term which is often associated as something far far more troublesome it feels like its being weaponized

Theres obvioisly pyshological feelings after the break up but....I dont know,
I dont often like to think of serious issues like this as a mob agenda but that classification seems tough
