Except Giannis isn't even that, well, certainly not anymore.

It's funny to me how there's this perception of him being a notable shot blocker when he's barely averaged 1 block over the last five seasons. He doesn't rank high in contesting shots either. I gather a lot of folks just assume because of his wingspan and ability to cover ground quickly, that he's proficient in that area of the game, when it couldn't be further from the truth.

His defense has been overrated for a long damn time.
