Melyssa Fordclaims that
Dame Dash liked to pour alcohol on video vixens at Jay-Z’s “Big Pimpin’” video shoot.
Speaking about the experience (at 5:15 in the below video), Ford explained that she used to turn down a bunch of music video shoots but accepted the call to do the video because she was on spring break at her college. “I barely understood who Jay-Z when I heard the song ‘Big Pimpin,’” she said.

As she recounted her experience on set, meeting two roommates and having a great time in the hotel, sneaking off to get fast food, and more, a co-host suggested that Dame and Jay-Z kept things professional — prompting Ford to explain her memory.
“Bullshyt,” she said. “That’s when he started pouring fukking liquor on chicks.”
Ford claimed that this wasn’t a one-time thing either. “On that boat,” she continued. “He was drunk as shyt. That was (Dame) all the time.”
Before she was on the JBP, Ford was one of the most popular video girls of the 2000s. She appeared in Usher’s “Yeah,” Alicia Keys’ “You Don’t Know My Name,” Jadakiss’ “Knock You Out,” and Sisqo’s “Thong Song” to name a few.
Earlier this month, Ford
defended the name of her new podcast,
Hot & Bothered, after podcast hosts with a similar name bashed her for it. "It is Hot & Bothered with Melyssa Ford, that is the difference," she explained on Instagram Live. "Felt like by calling it the 'Menapaud,' I would be leaving men out of the conversation and I really just didn't want to. Those two other podcasts are not really active and also I don't really care."
Ford also added, “I’m not really interested in what anyone else is doing. My shyt’s gonna be fukking amazing.”
Ford’s response came after
Hot and Bothered hosts Chris Buno and Cedar Shamp alleged that she stole their show name. "I just don't feel like that's super original. I just, I don't know, maybe I'm a little torn about that," said Shamp of the debacle.
"As Chris and I have made abundantly clear, we don't know who Melyssa Ford is," Shamp added.
"No idea," said Bruno.
