I never watched this movie until last week.
It sucked.

First JCVD movie I ever saw. I remember TBS/TNT used to show it all the time. It's terrible, but in a fun way.

As a kid growing up I enjoyed the movie very much and even liked the 80s futuristic score at the time. I heard the actual movie we saw was not the vision of the director of the film. When it was time to edit the movie, the studio locked out the director and that's the version of the movie we got. The director released his director cut for the movie many years ago, but I didn't get a chance to see it at the time. I just found it on Amazon might have to check it now. http://a.co/4K3GOgz

I am not sure but I did hear most Blu-Rays are region free. From the description from the link I posted.

Classic classic van dammage 80s fukkery. Severely slept on. One of the bleaker post apocalyptic sci fi films released then too. I can imagine the DC version. Studio were prob mad as shyt when they saw the footage initially
