Curt Henning joining the NWO=failure

Another WCW fukkup was having Curt Henning turn on the Horsemen and join the NWO. The setup was perfect, The NWO gathered TONS of heat(from fans and backstage) for that Arn Anderson mockery. Curt Henning was one of the few people that actually would have made a perfect fit in the Horsemen due to his history with Flair and the fact that dude was still in great condition in the ring.

What do they do instead? Turn him against the Horsemen and turned him into a NWO lackey which led him to literally getting kicked out and becoming bum status afterwards.

Dusty should've never been in the nWo. Didn't make sense for his character after all his years of fighting people & groups like that. He just wanted 15 minutes of cool like everyone who joined them. I was a nWo stan and even I was like .

They definitely dropped the ball with Curt. Brought him in with a great angle, gave him the U.S. title and he was just kinda there in the background after that.

I liked the NWO, but I also liked The Horsemen and when Curt was in the process of joining The Horsemen I was thinking "Yeah, this is perfect, they couldn't have picked a better guy for the part." And then they fukked that up too, Bischoff seemed to want every big name from the last 10 years in the NWO (other than the existing Horsemen and DDP). It got ridiculous. A lot of guys who actually had value became worthless background lackeys.

But yeah, Dusty was the worst NWO fit of all. The arrogant, elite, dominating heel group takes in some fat, hayseed everyman son of a plumber? Would like to hear Bischoff's logic on that.
