I think to really do them right, you have to have a flair for the gritty noire 70s style.

Good movie, and the book is even better!
It's crazy that only 2 of Donald Goines's books have been made into movies.
I'd love for somebody to bring Black Gangster, Daddy Cool, or Dopefiend to the big screen. They'd be way better than the same old Tubi hood flicks.
