Even in the darkest nights, I'm a MAC for life
I remember this time when I was 12 where I had waken up really early. It was around 5:00, about an hour before i had to be up to get ready for school. I had locked my door the previous night like i usually did (it was a habit my parents hated ). My dad always left for work around this time, and would sometimes come into my room in the morning (he kept some of his clothes in my closet). So im sitting in bed thinking "why am i awake " for about 3 minutes. I heard movement in the hallway and could see that the hallway light was on so I just assumed it was my dad. I heard someone approach the door, knock on it, and then forcefully start shaking the doorknob, causing my door to rattle along with it . It was all a very quick motion, there was little to no time in between the knocking and the shaking of my door. So usually when my dad tried to get into my room and the door was locked he would yell out something like "Get up u gotta go to school!" or "Unlock the door!" but this time, he didnt yell,or.say anything. I didnt even hear footsteps walking away from the door.
I decided id get up and open the door for him since i had to piss badly anyway, but when i opened it no one as there, and the hallway light had been turned off.i thought nothing of it and figured he had made his was back to the laundry room (which was directly across from the bathroom, which was adjacent to my room) exceptionally quick, but the light was off in there too, and there was no one there.
still, i was sleepy as fukk so i thought nothing of it, and just wanted to use the bathroom and go back to bed. i did think it was a bit odd at the time but my drowsy mind was telling me that he could very well had walked out the house to go warm up the car (it was December), although i knew it wasnt possible for anyone to make the trip so quickly. I hadnt even heard the house door open. even if he had began to walk away from the door after i didnt answer, i got up to open the door rather quick and should have atleast caught him walking away
The more I think about it the creepier it gets. i literally thought nothing of it at the time. Who was at my door brehs?
TL;DR: I hear someone trying to get into my room, but when i get up to open the door nobody is there
