The national quarantine was only announced a week ago... Results won't be instantaneous.

As far as deaths... All those cases that were previously diagnosed don't just disappear.. Takes a while to get an outcome I.e fully recovered.. Death etc

So even if they got no more new cases tomorrow there would still be daily deaths

Why are they just now considering airborne precautions when
1. this is a novel virus and it would make sense to play it safe until you knew for sure it was transmissive through droplets only
2. SARS 1 was capable of aerosolising so logically it would be a good chance this would be as well.
3. doctors wearing PPE, including surgical masks were getting infected by the THOUSANDS in China WEEKS ago!

Boris Johnson and the UK government are fukking stupid AF. They are literally waiting for more people to die and become infected before they lock everything down.

What they need to do is lock everything down now BEFORE it gets like how it is in Italy, Spain and France. That way it wont get any worser than what it is and there will be a good chance things will be back to normal by the first week of April.
