Question; are cases in Atlanta, Miami, Houston etc where all these folks are choosing to live as if the pandemic doesn’t exist, skyrocketing? I’m not understanding how shyt is “normal” in these southern states with all these concerts etc and hospitals not filling up

How many died of COVID from Thanksgiving gatherings? In Florida, you won’t know until after New Year’s

Florida’s public tally of COVID-19 deaths is now so behind that on some days, nearly half of the deaths reported actually occurred two months earlier, public health data shows.

The backlog blurs the full impact of the disease, preventing Floridians from seeing how deeply it’s ravaging the state.

Georgia & Florida already been caught juking the numbers...more than likely we'll learn the true tally either never or years later when they think people won't be as angry

anyway, there should be a focus on treatments just like vaccine distribution...got thousands of people dying everyday when we've seen they've got treatments to fight this thing better than what they're giving people especially Black people.

South Africa suspends rollout of Oxford/AstraZeneca Covid jab after research showed it failed to prevent mild cases of mutant virus
  • Africa's hardest-hit nation was due to start its campaign in the coming days
  • However it will now suspend the roll out of the AstraZeneca/Oxford vaccine
  • Officials said vaccine deliveries from other producers would soon be available

South Africa will suspend the start of its Covid-19 vaccinations with the AstraZeneca jab after a study showed the drug failed to prevent mild and moderate cases of the virus variant that has appeared in the country.

Africa's hardest-hit nation was due to start its campaign in the coming days with a million doses of the vaccine developed by AstraZeneca and Oxford.

The suspension marks an important setback for the country, but officials said vaccine deliveries from other producers would soon be available and allow the campaign to move forward.

The good news is that we’re at least getting back towards our pre holiday season numbers, the bad news is that those numbers weren’t good either but it’s a start of a move into the right direction . Now we just need responsible leadership and management of the virus, continued vaccinations for all those in need, doubling down of safety protocols with these damn super variants spreading out here and another stimulus package.

Then hopefully by Summer we’ll be under 50k cases a day, that’s my hope

Wright’s final vote was against impeaching former President Donald Trump on a charge of provoking the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol, according to the House clerk. He also voted in support of objections to counting Pennsylvania and Arizona’s electoral votes last month.

Wright failed to support measures that contained small business relief, better protection for front-line health workers, an economic stimulus to many out-of-work Texans and help with child care.

Wright repeatedly voting against healthcare for Texans. He voted against reducing the price of prescription drugs and supports a health care plan that would let insurance companies charge people with pre-existing conditions whatever they want.
