Microsoft had $21 billion in operating income last year. The Entertainment and Devices division, which is home to the Xbox had $364 million in operating income. So, as nice as Xbox is, it's not going to be enough to boost Microsoft if the rest of the business collapses.

The operating income is revenue AFTER you add in all the money they spent.
As in, TOTAL PROFIT. Nearing 1/2billion. Thats a loss
Cuz sony makes LESS off the playstation brand, and pays more per each. If M$ is doing bad, the gaming industry as a whole is doing bad
