I feel like having an off-season type of situation could help them with storylines and wrestlers staying healthy etc.

I think the only trade-off would be losing revenue which Im not sure they could afford to do

Short answer is no it wouldn't benefit them at all.

But in my mind with their huge video library they should do more with specials and non-live action shows and continue to build the farm league. You can swap out some TV time for guys who aren't staying healthy or stale storylines with that

I was on board with off season, but now I'm more on board with maybe a roster swap with all of these damn wrestlers they keep signing. Look, I know they trying to kill the indies and basically pissing away money because "stuff", but you have a Network. So many options you can do with the network along with the juggernaut of a roster. Yet, it is what it is:yeshrug:.

If I was in charge and I wanted to murder the indies, I would easily turn NXT into it's own entity, rather than a talent call up. Meaning creating additional content for the show and thus becoming a actual promotion:ld:.

Yes would lead to less injuries overall as well. Plus 99% of the nikkas on tv sound soulless when cutting promos maybe some time off for everyone especially creative might help them recharge their batteries.

I doubt the WWE as a business would but definitely would help storylines and wrestlers but as others have said they have enough potential stars to just rotate guys in and out.

Instead of a complete offseason, I always thought the wrestlers should take turns rotating 1 or 2 months off a year. But I know USA network would hate it

WWE sells itself on having shows every week so I do think a full offseason would happen.

One of the easiest ways to cut down on the schedule is to have less house shows but ironically most guys and girls prefer house shows because they get to be creative and they're just more fun.

This.

Just give guys 2 weeks off at a time 2 or 3 times a year.

Now, tell me that if Roman Reigns or AJ Styles were just gone for 2 weeks you'd really notice?

Now, this also is what keeps storylines stale, because characters are always around even when there's nothing for them.
