Could this Mayweather/Maidana rematch reach Hattonesque levels of fukkery?

This fight could end up being a mega event if marketed right. With the way the crowd was rocking during the fight, I can see the rematch turning into a hatton/mayweather level fight. Mayweather should bank much more in revenue come this fight.

It makes sense but I don't want to see it, Mayweather is likely to avoid engaging with Maidana the second time around, because he knows exactly wat he is gonna do. #boring

Floyd will just have to do a better job of countering and backing Maidana up without getting forced to the ropes. It Floyd would have moved too much (big circles like Khan did against Chino,instead of slight pivots) the casuals and a lot of detractors would have said he was running and that's looked at as worse than being forced into the ropes.

Besides, a Maidana rematch will never have as much fukkery of a Hatton fight because...

-Hatton was a more accomplished fighter and is a future HOF
-Hatton spoke english and was a likeable character
-Hatton had way more fans than Maidana has

Floyd aint gonna risk missing out on the Mexican Independence Day money and let it go to Manny vs Mexican JMM or Manny vs Mike Alvarado (who is half Mexican) in September



If Khan aint gonna fight in September, plus the media/casuals are clamoring for a rematch with Maidana (which will be a much easier fight than the 1st one), Maidana's gonna get another payday
