Could the Jerry Curl ever be resurrected???

Considering all the other ol' skool hair styles have made comebacks (the fro, ceasar, shag, high top fade etc.) and accepted I'm wondering why hasn't the curl done this. What happened? Why is this section of our history at? Is it something about the look that turns mfers off in the new millennium? Will it forever remain dead and never seen again except through 80s movies or pictures?

If it did become "trendy and fashionable" again would you sport it?
