Does anyone think that a African American wrestler born and raised in one of the wealthiest families in America could work. Would you like to see someone of African descent have a character similar to someone like JBL, or Alberto Del Rio Someone who comes out to the ring wearing the finest clothes and jewelry that money can buy? Someone who drives nice cars and has enough money to buy a small country?

In a perfect world, it could definitely work, but I would want the person portraying the character to have the charisma and swagger to pull it off. A black guy in that role would almost be a double heel in this climate and would need some goat level :umad: mannerisms, promo and ring skills to truly pull it off the right way. Neither JBL nor ADR had the total toolset to take it to the next level, although the former did more than anyone could have ever expected with that character.

I would envision this guy being a reverse JBL shytting on the MAGA crowd while also being the epitome of black excellence in and out of the ring. Almost like a hybrid Million Dollar Man + Mr. Perfect. This guy could shoot straight to the top with the proper push. The reactions alone would be :banderas:

Could Patrick Clark had filled this role had he not gone down the "Velveteen Dream" route?

Funny enough, he was the guy I thought about when I typed it out. His dedication to the Velveteen role shows me that he could take this (a much "easier" role to a certain extent) on without a problem if he was invested in it. Plus he's legit in the ring.

The only question I would have is can he do it on the big stage at the top of the main roster.
