:beli: Aaron Rodgers been killing it lately. I swear after that 15-1 season I knew he would be held to an ungodly standard. You throw 45 touchdowns to just 6 picks with a 121 passer rating and if you don't hit 40 TD every season from now on, you're not playing great?

Well, fukk what he gotta say. Us Packer fans thinks he's playing just fine :smugfavre:

I don't think I saw him miss a pass last week. As least the times I was watching and his throws were all precise. No idea what this guy is talking about.

he does have a point about his indecisiveness when he has plays down the field

Would you rather him force the ball like the old gunslinger favre? How about Eli always trying to go for the big play and end up throwing picks and throwing the game away? Same with Drew Brees and his 20 picks a year?

If Rodgers is too pressured to get the ball down the field or he just doesn't feel comfortable with a certain throw, that's fine with me. Touchdown to checkdown. It keeps the picks down, efficiency up and gives us the best chance to win. Rodgers takes his shots when they make sense, and it's not often he misfires.

The only fault I say about Aaron is that he holds the ball too long sometimes......BUT THAT'S IT!!!

But to say he isn't playing great football? :wtf:

Of course not, but he has guys down the field that he isn't seeing this year that he saw in 2011. Watch the film breh.. he also could throw the ball away to give the team good down and distance ala Brady.

This is my biggest issue with Rodgers (holding the ball)... he did it in 2009 and much of 2010 till he got hot. 2011 he was hitting everything but I wasn't expecting him to be THAT good. I knew he would level off but all year long he has taken sacks when he didn't have to. I know the line sucks but a good number of the 51 sacks given up are on him.

Its really the ball holding bit. Thats the legit gripe.

Yeah that's probably the only knock you can have on the guy.

And if you hit him a lot he can get knocked out of his rhythm but that's every QB.

Only thing I can say is his receivers are usually running wide open, and it's not so hard to hit them type of targets.

But Rodgers is the BEST QB in the league, bottom line.
