Nearly 820k total cases and we definitely reaching that number by tomorrow. We'll be at a million at the end of the month. And yet beaches are opening up and Georgia opening up gyms and Texas said they damn near opening up everything. Its mind boggling how in 2 months we went from like 30 cases to supposedly 820k. And then the deaths from 0 to 45,000. We'll be at 50k by Monday easily with the way things are going. When this thread was made we were at 340k and with nearly 12k deaths. Just to put into perspective what has happened these past 2 and a half weeks or so. The world total is now 2.5 million plus and looks like it was at 1.2 million from the link posted. So the US has had 460k new cases since that day. The total has gone up like 1.3 million. Not exact math but we have accounted for a third of the new cases in these past two and a half weeks, just US alone.
US has 330 million.
Indonesia has 273 million people and they have like 7k cases.
Pakistan has 220 million and they have like 9.5k cases.
Nigeria has like 206 million and like less than 1k cases.
Now I don't know if those numbers from those countries are exact or not but its just mind boggling that those countries who all have over 200 million have way less cases than us. I wouldn't be surprised at the end of this if we have more cases than the entire world combined. That plus the fact that NYC is the hardest hit and it being the financial center of the country and maybe even the world, seems like this is something that was planned and not no damn bat. Chinese been eating bat for many years and it seems like these wet markets have been in place for a long time as well. Apparently they were the cause of SARS back in 02 but yet 18 years later something worse comes along? Did they feel the need to keep the wet markets open? Were they eating a different type of bat since then? Did these new bats mutate somehow?
Its all just one big mystery.
