I dunno brehs I really enjoy movies about quirky lonely chumps.:russ: (Maybe 'cause deep down I relate to them.:wow:) No matter the plot these movies always have me crackin' up. :mjlol:Below are my favorites and some honorable mentions. If you know of any other good ones, put me on.:feedme:Also hit that rep button this shyt took a minute to put together:damn:.

Napolean Dynamite - Many of you are probably familiar with this flick. It was probably the first movie of this type I saw. The characters were both hilarious and endearing (pause :whoa:).

Dummy - Classic flick. Really shy and reserved guy gets a dummy and uses said dummy to say to things that he wouldn't.

Big Fan - Movie about a cornball sports fan who gets fukked up by his favorite sports player. :russ:

Willard - One of the darkest movies on this list. Guy get chumped by just about everybody. and befriends a mouse (or rat? I dunno). He then manages to control hundreds of them and makes them do what he tells them.

Film Geek - I was at the library a while back and saw this movie. On the back cover some critic compared it to Napolean Dynamite so I gave it a shot. Good movie but fair warning: This dude beats his meat all throughout the movie. I had no idea and ended up watching this with my mom, dad, sister, and a family friend. It would've probably been less awkward if we were watching flat out porn.:snoop:

Dark Horse
- Probably my favorite one. It's not for everyone though. This is a movie lovers kind of movie. Very smart dark comedy.

Tony: London Serial Killer
- This movie is ill. It walks a fine line between creepy horror film and comedy better than any movie I've ever seen.

*****Honorable mentions: Office Space, Three and Out, Swingers, and Lonesome Jim. I don't really consider the main characters in these movies to be cornballs per se, more like guys down on their luck. All four of these movies are really really good though.

Lonesome Jim had great writing an amazing ending. The exchanges between him and his Uncle had me crackin up.

got inside the car after running after them and the kid said "I thought you didn't run?" and then the kid gave him the water bottle he couldn't get out the vending machine.:wow:

Willard is a classic. So slept on :wow:

Forreal man. Pretty dark too. Willard started out as a lil bytch but by the end he was on some :demonic: shyt. If you liked Willard I highly recommend Dummy or Tony: London Serial Killer.

I'd even recommend that Night Crawler flick that came out last year, since they both have weird dudes who get drunk off power. I think that might be another sub genre appreciation thread I'll do. I'd include Willard, Night Crawler, Scarface, and The Social Network.
