Great segment

Marley played "On the Real" a million times.

Steve Stoute has always been a clown.

Mega looks exactly the same as when he came out.
Nas said IWW was supposed to be entirely produced my Marley. But stopped recording with him after he took “on the real” which was supposed to be a solo track and added Kamakazi and mega on it without his knowing and leaked it to the djs to promote mega and kamakazi whom Marley had taken under his wing as his new artists

I remember Marley Marl said Cormega's album and the Lords of the Underground albums were supposed to drop round the same time on (I think on Pendulum), but Mega got locked up.
I didn't watch the vid so not sure if this was covered but Mega had features on albums in the late 80s and early 90s and then what you mentioned above, so yeah, he wasn't a house hold name but he was already known in the NY music industry, at least from a hip hop perspective.

Above the fray.

Thanks, first time hearing this.

Had to have been Stoute's call because Mega was down with Nas' people so doesnt seem like he would have opposed helping Mega get on.

Stoute, the manager would have been upset by people eating off his artist for free
