JV saved us. Lowry hit some big shots even though his overall percentage was still shytty. These pick and rolls need to be used to set up dump passes to JV more often instead of our guards hunting shots. James Johnson sighting to shut down Iso Joe.

The reason the Heat play off JV on the pick-and-roll is because they know he won't receive the ball and all Lowry and DD are trying to do is find space for their shot so they get over-crowded.
JV is actually a really good mover off the screen not only towards the rim but if he pops out a little to about 15 feet he can nail that jumper and Whiteside doesn't like defending outside the paint.
Or potentially if Lowry and DeRozan move forward off the screen they'll draw the big. Back it out and get the ball to JV on the inside with the little guard on him and let him exploit the mismatch.
Really simple basketball plays and the Raptors cannot even execute those properly.
I don't think we'll get a 50% performance from either, hell at this stage I'd settle for 40%.

Its crazy that through all the struggles, Lowry is still the only one with a positive +/- oh of the raptors top 7 players. His on-off is like +20(per 100 possessions). I'm rooting for Toronto and I've noticed that i still feel much more comfortable when he is out there. Their offense falls apart completely when he is on the bench and he makes plays on D.
