recently watched To Live and Die In LA and fukkin loved it I really wanna watch more movies like that capture the cool & gritty part of the 80's


I don't want no cheesy over-the-top, typical 80's shyt, just stuff that captures the "cool 80's" like Miami Vice for example

Love 80's movies, even the cheesy//bad ones, they don't have the grimy/washed out look of the 70's

Tequila Sunrise by Robert Towne

Wall Street by Oliver Stone

even a throwaway like The Mean Season with Kurt Russell , has some dope shots of Miami and a cinematic style

This movie doesnt get enough props for its cool factor, but for instance, that scene where JCVD does the coin grab on the Arabial fighter and steals the girl from him is one of the swagiest and suave moments ever performed on cinema.


We didnt even get into the broken brick (not hitting back) scene yet.
