I've only been able to beat Contra 4 DS 
Whenever I get an AC Adapter for my SNES, I'm gonna try and beat Alien Wars. I think the furthest I've ever made it was that motorcycle stage.

This is my favorite video game. I actually finished the whole thing with 3 lives
Favorite video game also, 30 man code is for suckers.

if they announce a contra 5 for next gen, i think the internet might shut down 
3D graphics, gameplay on a 2D plane (Like Donkey Kong Country for the 3DS and Wii).
They should just remake the first one and see how it fares.

i would rather it stick to a more arcadey style, i dont want it to be too western
just like this video but way better graphics and better level designs, drop in/drop out online coop, make use of next gen features on the PS4 controller
as a matter of fact, since contra 4 had 4 characters to choose from, they might as well let you have 4 players in a sequel. i could imagine some giant bosses that have a bunch of parts or weapons that keep all 4 players busy

I thought Contra:Hard Corps was a throwback in gameplay and visuals done right.

Props! Hard Corps was my favorite in the series hands down. I remember accidentally finding the alternate ending with the monkey king and being pissed about it bc I had stacked lives and was on a run that'd finally beat the game...dammit!
