This Central African Ngombe Ngulu sword was reputedly used for executions. Later, it became a sign of prestige. It was brought to the Springfield area by a Baptist missionary named Dr. Clark in 1900 and donated to the Museum in 1955 by Mr. and Mrs. Paul R. Rothery.

Tbf, israelites were sent on several spy missions by god himself. Gideon, moses, and joshua were heavy into spying. The general premise is that you good to do whatever in these metaphorical streets as long as you view the foreign spot as your "promise land". Peaceful wives, children and families of the locals already living there be damned:francis:



So i assume all the stuff cacs did is sanctioned religious policy. :yeshrug:
