Compulsion Games says that maintaing creativity at Microsoft isn't as hard as people think it is

If this was remotely true we would see it in their games. Bungie wanted to make Destiny and Microsoft said “no, make halo and shut up about this new IP bullshyt”. Now Destiny is multi-platform, Bungie quit, and Microsoft ends up having to build a new team to make Halo. If they allowed creativity they could have gave Bungie more resources to make both Halo and Destiny....the current 343 could have been apart of Bungie and Microsoft would have had Destiny as an XBOX exclusive.

It's not like they're gonna bad mouth their employer in public. That being said sounds like Microsoft has been pretty hands off on these new additions.

To be honest this was the Don Mattrick era. Heck he's the reason Xbox's first party was stagnant. We'll see if Phil is speaking truth or full of shyt.
