LOL. beat me to it. I was just about to create this thread. But wanted to check if it already existed.
Anyway, I love watching stuff like this. Little gems like how hip hop production shifted from the 80s to the 90s. Beats got slower. Which I think was both a blessing and a curse. I personally love the 90s beats for that. Slower allows more atmosphere and reflection, which can make a record powerful. But it comes at a cost of energy. I can see why some older cats, particularly bboys, may have been a little less interested in 90s music. Less of that raw bboy energy.
