Compared to Star Trek , Star Wars is really basic

Star Trek dealt with society and civil rights between species. They explored the universe in the name of science. Every character had a role( unlike Star Wars where it's good vs evil or the force vs the dark side)

A lot would say It's also very boring too. Only star trek I could really get into was voyager and that was only because as a teen 5 of 9 or whatever her name was looked sexy as fuk. Janeway was pretty decent for a woman of a certain age too

I wasn't that big of a Star Trek fan until 2009 when the reboot came out. Then I went on to explore the movies and tv shows liked a lot of what I saw. You're probably right, but I enjoy both.

star wars is more entertaining and more grand.

In star trek is a bit more slow paced in a less advanced galaxy and the thing I don't like is the species are too humanoid there aren't enough advanced species that aren't humanoid

I used to love the show as a kid, and would watch it when I got home from school.

I enjoyed even more as an adult. It's far more entertaining thought provoking than most shows and movies period not just star wars.

star wars seems like 6 decent, but not great, popcorn fantasy films, which were highly influenced by Dune and lord of the rings. They aren't anything beyond that though.
