I saw this the other day and it reminded me of why ?uestlove doesn't have a clue sometimes. Among him telling Common this song doesn't fit with the album, here is a list of ?uestlove hip hop opinions

thought Enter the 36 chambers was a rudimentary album and wasn't that good

When Kingdome Come dropped, he kept saying it was "grown folk music" to those that didn't like it, now almost 20 years later, he finally admits it wasn't a good album.

Wasn't feeling the Chronic

Didn't really like Cuban Linx

Criticized Drake/Kendrick beef when he chose to back up Jay z going at Nas and Prodigy

There are many others. He has a wealth of music knowledge, but he just seems like a pompous prick that thinks his opinion is the only one that matters. I now truly understand why Prince was always sonning him and people around him. The funny thing is that he viewed Rza's production as plain and simplistic, but praised Donuts when it was mostly a collection of loops on many songs(not all) . He just really doesn't get it. He's a trained musician that views hip hop in that light of musicianship (outside of Dilla).
