yeah, i agree with the trailer showing too much. but i feel like if they didn't show what they did, people would have taken it to be a totally different movie because right before the spin, i didn't think it was going to be like that at all. the only thing that made me think it was going to revolve around some sort of violence was the kid in the beginning with the water gun, but then that idea turned around after you realized it was a water gun. like, when i first saw him pick up the gun, i was like

damn, another movie about blacks in the hood?

now, it still kind of revolves around that topic, but it's slightly broader. which sort of makes me want to see it, i guess. but i'm still hesitant...
