I was one of those who wanted Sewell over Chase. Nothing against Ja'Marr but I felt addressing the line was more important.
It is what it is. I'm more concerned with the Bengals being 5-2 leading the North than being wrong over a draft pick.
i mean let’s be honest it’s not like it wasn’t sensible. We just lost the QB to a season ending injury and had some bs on the line. And Sewell was getting major hype. On top of both him and chase sitting out the previous college season. People are just being disingenuous because it was a coin flip situation. What likely led to him being picked is that Joe vouched for him and wanted him. And only using hindsight can we say it was the right pick.
we clearly have/had more weapons at WR than talented lineman. But all of us fans know that. I wasn’t mad either way. Because I understood why we made the decision.
