If black preachers where giving something tangible back in exchange for the offerings I'd have no problem them flying in a private jet.

WTF does Tariq gives nikkas but repackaged information taking from people better than him?

At least some churches provide services like job services, food drives, homeless shelters...

WTF Tariq provdes...

And this is why Black people suck at capitalism...

That mentality you have is reason why nikkas stay broke...

The whole point is to hold on to your money...find reasons not to spend your money on bullshyt...

Yall nikkas ready to give your money away to a nikka that is getting it for free....but all he gotta do is say "Black empowerment..." and "Group economics''...and yall nikkas give him money

Tariq isn't giving anything more tangible than a preacher.
Not trying to be funny but a "tangible" thing is the DVD series.
adjective
1.
capable of being touched; discernible by the touch; material orsubstantial.
2.
real or actual, rather than imaginary or visionary:
the tangible benefits of sunshine.
3.
definite; not vague or elusive:
no tangible grounds for suspicion.
4.
(of an asset) having actual physical existence, as real estate orchattels, and therefore capable of being assigned a value in monetaryterms.
noun
5.
something tangible, especially a tangible asset.
There's production values, speakers that require money, footage, audio etc in said product that definitely require money. if Hidden colors was dude sitting in his living room talking about the shyt I'd be in agreement with you.

No, not really but what's funny is the ideals of "pro black" and "group economics" as Tariq presents them are very socialist.

Except of course for the fact that he wants you to use your money you got from working for the white man to buy his boots.

Well nah...

It's no very socialist, because these nikkas donate money to these "pro-black" preacher nikkas, these preacher nikkas give out a product that nikkas gotta pay for and take all the profit...

And these nikkas supposed to feel like they did something...pro-black..when they did something very fukking dumb

When they really just got ripped off by a smooth talking, guilt tripping, race shaming nikka...

I think you missed my point I wasn't talking about cost in producing the show. Although if it was a non-profit production I would feel a bit better about it.

I was talking about his "product" basically being thoughts or ideals/inspiration.

He gives all these nikkas a chance to call up. No one ever does it. One guy did call up and when he was talking to Tariq he started to act all Sassy.

If you call up make a good point and Tariq hang up on you as many say he does then guess what you've proved to everybody what you been saying one the Coli about him.

I understand the effect isn't socialism.

I'm saying the rhetoric is

so·cial·ism
ˈsōSHəˌlizəm/
noun
  1. a political and economic theory of social organization that advocates that the means of production, distribution, and exchange should be owned or regulated by the community as a whole.

  1. Sounds exactly like what dudes like Tariq are advocating. I just find it ironic he presents these ideals, while also clearly being all about capitalism.

why didn't he discuss the black veteran who is receiving death threats because he had his meal taken from him at chilis? (wheres all the 'respect the veterans' outrage that cacs were spewing because people were kneeling for the anthem?)

or why didn't he discuss the white guy that murdered all those black people in church not being labeled as a terrorist like the somalian guy, and also being subdued peacefully, unlike the somalian guy?

those are clear-cut examples of WS, but i mean, I GUESS he trolled them right?

WHY DO YOU NON BLACK POSTERS DO THIS?

His "product" are often various scholars/people talking on screen. Footage/audio of different things on screen. What exactly is your issue with someone selling thoughts/ideals. I've bought more books/researched things because of the DVD. I've had books on black world history years before i even heard of Tariq. It's easier for me ot say "yo check this dvd out" vs read something from XXX.

You say this like it's not a business. Nation of Islam. Business. NAACP had sponsors and with MLK was a business. How can you impact shyt without doing Business. The white supremacist do it with AFI, NPI and KKK. But that's white folks, they can do business but us Black folks need to die and be sitting ducks. Kill yourself.

The flex boots and making are part of him. That's what turns people away. Again think if a great leader of the past was selling boots to his followers. It's not a good look, it instantly makes you want to analyze his motivations.

And there is no "hate" or anything passive aggressive about what I'm saying. I laid it all out clearly and distinctly.

Well if a great leader of the past was hustling boots or other gear....

:patrice:

MAYBE THEY WOULDN'T HAVE DIED BROKE AND IN THEIR DEATH THEIR FAMILY WOULD HAVE BEEN TAKEN CARE OF AND MORE IMPORTANTLY THEY COULD HAVE STARTED BUSINESSES FOR BLACK PEOPLE

You're still living with a village mentality where money wasn't needed. nikka until we beat WS and end capitalism money is as important as air.
