College Football: Friday Night Games (UT/NCSU, MSU/BSU, Stan/SJSU)

Took today off to ensure a long, full weekend to enjoy football as it should properly be enjoyed.

I think Da'Rick Rogers getting the boot at UT robbed us of a great matchup with NCSU's secondary vs UT's WRs. However, UT still has their best receiver, Justin Hunter, who's going up against the nation's best CB in Amerson. Should still be fire.

I think Michigan State is going to prove how complete their team is tonight and use this game to build momentum early. They're one of my favorites in the Big Ten.

I have interest in the SJSU/Stan game tonight because of an investment that I have made in SJSU to not get their ass beat by 25 points. Want to see if Stanford is going to have a stagnant offense as well. Hopefully it will be a close one [clutches bet ticket tight]

when chris peterson has 10 or more days to prepare he is 23-2

We'll see how their line blocks tonight. They're HUGE, strong, athletic, and now they're grown. THey have all those starts under their belt, but they don't run block well at all. They have the skill set to open holes, but they shyt the bed on every running play.

They'll block for Braysus though. And I have a feeling that UT will run slants, curls, short routes to get the ball out faster.

I'm not a big advocate of run by committee either, and it looks like UT is heading that way.


While I'm on UT, I really think that it could have been one of the more high-powered offenses in the nation. Too bad Da'Rick kept messing up. If Justin Hunter tears his knee up again... ouch
