I know it's a struggle out here brehs. Some more than others but I just wanted us to come in and drop some tips that I feel would be very beneficial to brothers. My first tip would be:

1) If you ever get a traffic ticket (other than minor infractions such seatbelts etc), always GO TO COURT......NEVER PAY ONLINE!! I often have to educate my family about this. Reason being is sooo many of us pay tickets online when in reality, had you gone to court, you can usually talk with the solicitor and he/she will reduce the fine and often times will just have you pay a fee WITHOUT points going against your license. The reason points are so important is because insurance companies will raise your premium over minor shyt if you pay online. Paying online is pleading guilty with no questions. I've had 3 or 4 tickets (speeding) in the last couple years but yet my MVR shows only 2007 as late date to the city clerks. #coliadvice

In your free time look up passive ways to earn income, read, research and see what you can apply. Never know when life happens so you dont want to be assed out depending on one revenue stream if you can help it.
This but honestly if you aren't where you want to be you should be doing this even more than being on here. I've always said people will say the man holding them back but look at what they do once they get off work its mainly bullshyt time wasting like this. I'm not saying you can never be on here but a lot of people could probably stand to be on here less esp those complaining about where they are in life.

I mean at least you can see it unlike some on here and even IRL. Now its a matter of not procrastinating on them things and at least if you online read up on some stuff that's going to get you right in the future potentially.

I know I can definitely spend less time here, especially with these next few months being a down time in sports. That goes for everything, some people its the coli, others its twitter, the xbox, whatever. If you got goals you trying to attain you got to prioritize.

Exactly but a lot of people like the distractions those things provide and like you said its not just here its everything. Social media, tv, dating, sports, everything that's stopping you from doing what you really know needs to be done. The thing is stuff like this is junk food while doing the hard work you know you need to is vegetables.

Man you only got a month and a half before stuff pick up too so better get on it man. Best of luck

Same here...got a suspended license in fulton county in 2008 because of that damn jeezy recession album lyric "...i got court tomorrow, i een go, i enn show i got shyt to do". Ended up losing my first good job because they found out it was suspended and informed me. :francis:

Negroes with guns
-Learn how to move in a room full of vultures

Snatched that from Jay but I apply it to the office. I had to learn how the game is played and not make decisions or react out of emotion. Like I told a chick at work, (she let's them get in her head and she gets mad and wants to argue) it's chess not checkers. If they can control your emotions, they can control you. They let her do all the talking, then go straight to her supervisor and she gets reprimanded....EVERY TIME.

They get no emotion or words from me that I don't consciously choose to give them.

Save your money; stop tricking it of and spending you money on shyt that will lose it's value (clothes, shoes and etc.)

Don't make unnecessary bills

Understand the law

Don't let nobody steal your joy/happiness

At work; go through the front door, not the backdoor.

At work try to help another brother get employment at your employer.

Try to speak good words to the brothers younger than you.

At work control your actions and words because they will twist your words and play the victim.
