So I'm in the Middle East rn with my parents due to COVID, and although I have been using conditoner/leave in conditioner routinely due to this really dry weather and dry ass water here my hair still has gotten matted and tangled. It got really bad last year because I never had a problem before and then it came all of sudden but this time it's not bad but it's still somewhat matted and just overall dry . My routine is I have this leave in conditioner that can also be used as a daily mostirizer, and ofc a conditioner.

I got curly hair and my shyt was super dry
Even scalp was dry from time to time

But been using this the last few days

my hair texture back to normal
And its black owned

It's the water. I lived in the ME for 4 months. I used the same hair products, but my hair felt overall dry. I realized it was water. You may need to buy cheap water from the commissary or market. Just do a final rinse with the bottled water.

I just did a final rinse with bottled water, but I didn't wash my hair daily. Also, sealing the hair with oil. So Bottle water rinse, then a light olive or tea tree oil.

Yea I don’t either really until recently with how I saw it was getting matted and tangled so easily again. Would u say just use a leave in conditioner 3 times a week, and conditioner every 3 days?

Honestly, It doesn't really matter the schedule because the problem is the water. Try the bottled water for a bit to see if it helps.

nope. We don't have one of those due to electricity, but as long as it is filtered, you good!

have you got a hair cut recently? a good trim goes a long way as far as preventing hair from tangling as much. you have split ends they end up getting knots and tangled in healthy hair which ends up in matting. get a trim. other than that i would do olive oil or something easily available cuz sometimes overseas don't have the best hair products im used to

trim the split ends, however much that is. the healthier your hair is the easier it will be to retain length so your hair will in effect "grow" faster without tangling up on itself.
